The inflatable axillary suport is to be used during Total Hip Replacement, Shoulder Arthroscopy, Thoracotomy, Kidney Surgery, and other lengthy procedures.
Introduction of the shoulder-float under the upper torso.
After inflation, the shoulder-float is properly positioned for the patient's comfort. The shoulder is properly decompressed.
This inflatable and adjustable "pillow" is placed under one hip during Cesariean section.
By inflating or deflating the pillow at any time during the procedure, the hip can be raised or lowered.
The angle of rotation (or tilt) can then be adjusted. This device is also useful during kidney surgery and surgery on the side of the leg and ankle.
This device has a non-inflated flap extending from one side.
The flap is placed under one of the patient's hips while the inflatable portion is placed under the other hip.
The weight of the patient on the flap prevents the lateral shifting of the pillow.
